Maritime Resource Management course, 16 to 19 August 2022
Maritime Resource Management (MRM/BRM) is a training program that builds upon well-established facts as well as the latest research within the human factors area. The message is easily understood and and will provide a new set of “tools” that the course participants can use in their work place.

About the Event
For many years now, “human error” has been identified as the most common contributing factor in accidents. These errors are often related to a lack of teamwork and communication, taking of risk,improper attitudes and unsafe company cultures. Stress, fatigue, complacency and failure to utilise available resources are other typical factors.
The good news is that it does not have to be like this. The current frequency of incidents and accidents is not a “natural part of shipping operations” and something we have to accept and live with. What is needed, however, is a cultural change.
