IMO Model 1.27 This AMSA approved short course provides the Generic Knowledge, Skills and Understanding of ECDIS and ENCs to the operational extent required to undertake the duties of a Navigation Watch Officer as defined by STCW Tables A-II.

About the Event
To safely navigate vessels there are three phases of ECDIS training; this course is followed by the relevant Flag State type specific training the on-board familiarisation as per ISM Code.
The course is contextualised for Australia and particularly applicable to Marine Pilots maintaining a Certificate of Competency.
